Since people usually post these “what’s in my bag” posts, I thought it’ld be more interesting if I showed what I usually carry to and from class. So this is my floral backpack which I currently use and what I usually lug around lol

I usually carry around a lot of things incase I get bored or if I get thirsty I can save a few $$$ by bringing my bottle etc. I think it’s always important to be prepared beforehand I carry around my 3DS as it has a built in pedometer (I think it’s always interesting to see how many steps I’ve taken) and it interacts with other 3DS consoles

I used to bring my netbook to class, but then it started to overheat so I purchased a laptop. But since it weights 3kg+, it’s much more convenient to carry a tablet around I wish the iPad had a usb port lol, but I like it because so far, I’ve found the iPad’s touch screen is the most responsive compared to the tablets by Acer, Asus etc and I already have an Apple account with apps, so I can transfer the compatible apps

These are some of my makeup items which I usually carry around with me I usually don’t wear heavy makeup to class, only when I wear circle lenses.

This is my Mamegoma pencil case which I received as a birthday gift a few years ago I actually don’t write much using pens anymore since I usually take down my notes electronically, but it’s always useful to have a few pens on hand. Or in my case, many  I used to collect and buy a lot of pens, so now I have too many

So what do you usually bring to class?  

The party was held in a park and it was a lovely sunny day, though was so windy and cold! I’m so glad I wore my duffle coat, I wore my hood for most of the day

Besides the wild weather, I had a great time catching up with my friends. The theme of the party was about childhood games so there were activities like 3 legged racing, fishing as many marbles as you can from the tray using chopsticks etc.

My friend’s sister, i eat sweet…,  made a super cute panda cake and cakepops for the party which were super cute and delicious  Her cakes have super sweet icing which I love! I think the icing is usually the best part of the cake

This was my first time hearing and seeing cakepops. I guess they’re just like cake lollipops? lol

And here’s the photo of another cakepop, and a slice of the panda cake. This cakepop had carrot cake inside I also got to eat a chunk of icing which was one of the panda’s paws (or foot?) lol

After eating the cake, the rest of the day was spent taking photos and poloroids. I’ve been wanting to get a Fujifilm one for ages, since it’s easy to find the film and it’s not too expensive if I buy in bulk, but I always get easily distracted and buy other things Some of the shots got over exposed due to the bright sun, but we managed to get a few good shots

At first I thought I’ld get the Mouse Guard one, but then I saw they were giving out manga as well, so I decided to get Gate 7 by CLAMP. I’ve actually never heard of this series before but the cover looked interesting It’s a pity it’s vol 2 though, I’ll have to go find vol 1 to read

Kinokuniya also had a 20% off all comic and manga so I bought Chocomimi vol 5 and Ore to Atashi no Kareshi-sama I don’t really read manga anymore but I always have a soft spot for Chocomimi since I used to read it when it was in Ribon when I was 13~16. Kinokuniya doesn’t sell it in Japanese and at the time I didn’t buy manga online, so I buy it in English lol Otherwise nowadays I only buy manga in Japanese in hopes of improving my reading skills

Sadly, I don’t have any more photos to share of the Comic Day event at Kinokuniya, coz I had to quickly leave to attend a doll meet It took place in the Korean cafe again, they’re so nice to let us take photos of the dolls around their cafe lol  This time I only brought my smaller dolls since I was going out for dinner and didn’t want to carry my heavier ones around all day

I also brought my Masamune Nendoroid since I haven’t had a chance to take photos of him in daylight since I’ve been coming home late from uni this week. I got him in the mail a few days ago from Rakuten I usually don’t collect anime type figurines but Nendoroids look so cute and Masamune Date is my favourite warlord, so I though I might as well get him The quality and paint job is awesome!

After the doll meet, I quickly ran to the cinema to watch The Avengers in 3D! The movie was fantastic! I highly recommend anyone to watch it even if you don’t follow Marvel comics. Personally I don’t, but I usually watch Marvel movie adaptations I found the movie very engaging and there’s some funny bits which I loved It was worth paying a few dollars extra to watch it in 3D.

For dinner I had Chinese food at Crazy Wings  Apparently their chicken wings are supposed to be really spicy and hot, but when we ate them, they were only a bit spicy haha They tasted really good though, especially the honey soy ones Coz we spent $35 on dinner, we got a $10 voucher to spend on their chicken wings for out next visit I’ll definitely be back to eat them again.

And we had frozen yoghurt again for dessert. I think I’m currently in a frozen yoghurt phase, though in the city there aren’t many places to eat frozen yoghurt

Usually I don’t have such a busy day when I go out, but today I had a lot of things to do and people to meet! I guess it makes up for the fact that I haven’ been able to go out for the past few weeks due to assessments

The tuk tuk took us to a hotel, where we rode the boat to a marketplace. I can’t remember the name of the place since I can’t understand any Thai  It took us around 30~40mins to get to the market and the journey was very pleasant. It was very relaxing on the boat and to see the scenery of the local life along the water  We also had breakfast on the boat and they had really nice guava juice 

I really enjoyed going to this market There were a lot of different things to look at and there were many stalls with people cooking food and merchandise such as souvenirs and clothing. The most interesting thing to me was that there were several stores selling fried flowers and plants  I’ve never heard of such a thing before lol. The fried flowers acually tasted pretty good, my favourite kind were yellow, but I’m not sure what type of flower it is.

I think it’s always interesting to see street food in other countries though I’m always scared to try them since I have a weak stomach  I’m glad that I didn’t get sick from eating the fried flowers 

Here’s just a mini post to say that, yes I’m alive 

Today I bought a PSP 3000 second hand  I’m usually not interested in Sony consoles but I figured that since there’s a lot of interesting Japanese PSP games, it’ll be good to practice my Japanese with I decided to get this instead of the PS Vita since the Vita can’t play the PSP games, and also I prefer spending more money on newer games for my Nintendo 3DS

The PSP 3000 cost me $92 and surprisingly came with a 2GB card which I think someone forgot to take out, though I bought a 16GB card since I think even 8GB is not enough for me haha

Now the hardest part is finding games in English to play. There’s so many games and I don’t know where to get started since I’ve only followed Nintendo games before. There’s a lot to digest  Any of my fellow blog readers have any PSP game recommendations? 

I’m currently typing up more Thailand posts, so I promise I’ll post again soon! It looks like I need to queue up posts so I won’t have big gaps of absence 

I’ve taken quite a lot of photos during my trip so I’ll probably make 3 posts about my trip 

Terminal 21 is an amaaaazing shopping centre which I’ve visited quite often, I’m so glad it was right next door to my hotel!  It’s a 9 level shopping centre and each level has a different theme associated with it based on cities/places around the world such as Rome, Tokyo etc  The interior designing of this place is really well done and I think it creates a nice atmosphere to shop in  The shops, and even the bathrooms, look awesome

I had a great time shopping (my goodies haul will be posted later!) and eating here I can’t believe how much cheaper the food is here! Pepper Lunch in Sydney will cost me around au$15 while in Bangkok it only cost me roughly au$4  Clothing was relatively cheap too, I paid around $12 for a tee  They had name brand stores and some “Western” styled stores with things like galaxy tees and marine styled clothing… I wish I brought more money 

If you’re ever in Bangkok, I highly suggest that you visit and shop here  Lots of things to look at, buy and eat 

I also got my first Arpakasso alpaca yesterday! A friend recently came back from Hong Kong and got me one~ 

She’s called Hana-chan according to the little card she came with. I had no idea they had names Yuki-chan is my favourite

Sorry for the brief and boring post lol. I’ll have lots of things to post about over the coming week or two such as my uni’s orientation and my trip to Thailand
