If you haven’t noticed, one of my hobbies is eating out and taking photos of food (& instagram it!) :camera I think there’s nothing better than having a nice chat with friends, while eating or drinking something delicious :chuuu

I haven’t really been doing anything sort of interesting I guess, besides see a bit of the Vivid Festival and receiving packages (I’ll be posting about them later lol), I though I’ld make a food post of the things I’ve eaten this week and a bit :whoosh Also, I usually don’t eat out this often :huuu

Friday 25th May
I had a quick meet up with a friend after Japanese class, and we headed to My Sweet Memory to drink something warm  :3 I absolutely love going to this place and I go every once in a while. I love their interior design and their ice blended drinks are my favourite. Plus they have waffles with icecream! :raburabu

Hot chocolate!

Saturday 25th May
This was a big day of eating lol, I was out for nearly 12 hours :XD

First we went to Azuma to wait for a quick snack while we were waiting for other people to join us. I can’t remember what this was called, but it’s a raspberry dessert :cutlery

Then we headed off to Din Tai Fung for lunch. Since it was really cold that day, I decided to have some soup for lunch. Plus I love eating wontons! wakuwaku

A few hours later we got to eat the cake B made for C’s birthday. She made a Japanese shortcake which was really delicious and creamy! puuu

And for dinner, I had a gyu-don. Simple, yet filling and tasty energeticbun

Dinner :3

Wednesday 30th May

After class, I decided to have a snack so we headed to Tom N Toms. It’s a Korean cafe, more like Starbucks compared to My Sweet Memory with a wider variety of drinks and things to eat. I’ve been seeing my friends post photos of the toast and cream tower on facebook so I wanted to try it :glee5 It’s honey butter cinnamon toast, with a very big helping of whipped cream which tasted very nice :happy

Honey butter toast!

After that we went to Gloria Jeans where I got my favourite drink, which is their Cookies n Cream Chiller with whipped cream :girl2

My fav ヾ(@⌒ー⌒@)ノ

Friday 1st June

Gosh, it’s already June! My life is whizzing by lol.

Once again, eating dinner after class :wheeeeee The good thing about going to uni which is located so close to the city, is that there’s always something to do after class. For dinner I had tempura don! It’s been a while since I’ve eaten tempura.

Dinner :3

And once again, I went to Tom N Toms. This time I tried their Green Tea TomNcinno :glee Their version tastes a bit more creamier and lighter compared to others that I’ve tried before :peace

Green tea tomNcinno :3

And that’s all for the food snaps for now lol! I’ll be eating more next week but I”ll try to post some different type of entries next week :teehee

  1. Thank God I already had luch! HAHAHA. Other ways I would be starving right now!
I know that feeling of taking snaps of your food (and have a lot of people staring at you and wondering what the heck are you doing HAHA) I do that all the time, but I rarely post them on my blog :~
I wish we had Korean coffes here too, the are always so cute and photogenic >_< And I also wish my Uni was located close to the city, sadly we only have a few snack bars (idk if that is the right term ^^").

Kisses, and have a nice weekend!

    • Awww, I hope one day you can visit a Korean type cafe. They’re really nice ^^

Hehe, I know what you mean. But I think since most people have smart phones with photo sharing apps, nowadays it isn’t as awkward :3

And yes, that’s a correct word XD There’s a few snack bars, food franchises on campus, but they mainly sell things like sandwiches so I eat elsewhere.

  2. O_O

Everything looks so delicious! I love looking at your food pictures on instragram. How can you eat out so often and still be so thin? I’d be a whale (darn my snail-paced metabolism).

No way! Cookies n’ cream in liquid form?! That’s insane! I’d probably drink that everyday XD

    • I guess I’m lucky that I have a fast metabolism :3seal

I’ld drink it more often, though it’s sort of expensive – $6.00 for the regular size.

  3. Y-you have to promise me Vermillion, if I ever go to Sydney you shall take me to all these amazing places and watch me poof up! OK? okay… (; ≖´◞۝◟≖`) ♥♥♥

  4. *drools* Looking at all your food photos is making me hungry! I especially love the raspberry dessert photo you took, it looks delicious!

  5. omnomnomnom … the food looks delicious! Especially the sweet things ∩( ・ω・)∩ I love your Teru Teru Bozu smilies ⁝⁞⁝⁞ʕु•̫͡•ʔु☂⁝⁞⁝⁝

  6. It must be nice to live in Sydney! The restaurants here could care less about presentations. x____x

    • Ahhh really? How strange >< I think the presentation of food is what makes things look appetizing.

  7. hehe I like taking pictures of food, too! Everything looks very yummy :) How do you afford it all? xD -jealous-

    • By working & not saving much? haha >< Though I tend to work more in the holidays, so I guess it kinda evens out.

  8. lol oh dears i’ve definitely become an instagrammerrr ;( lovely snapshops you have here! everything looks…..DELISH.

    • I think instagram is a fun way to share photos online :D

If only I could send food through the net I would ;)

  9. wahh the cappucinno looks so delicious. lol you always go to the nicest cafes. i’m so jelly hahah :P ahh, last summer when i went to taiwan, i also checked out the famous din tai fung! so good right??? they’re like the best shao long bao, i ever ate in my life.. legit. plus, their service was really exceptional and everything was really professional..and clean as well. i’d definitely revisit again when i return to taiwan next time. so much mouthwatering food! *nose bleeds*
